if i were you, go around to the lfs in atlanta, like marine fish, reef store, etc. Also, take some to next months reef meet.

damn thats like 3 times the amount of $$$ per bag. i paid $3.59 per 50lbs bag and i didnt get any discount for buying a whole pallet. if you sell it all you will make a nice profit, good luck.

Chris, Thomg and I live in Georgia. We do not have access to purchase Southdown and our local Home Depot as you may have. Thomg had 2 pallets of SD shipped to his home to HELP OUT local reefers, and quite frankly, $12 per 50# bag IS A STEAL compared to the cost of argonite sand sold at the LFS. I purchased 8 bags and was glad to get it. So all things said, cost is realative to where you live. I bet property taxes are alot less in Georgia than in Mass.
