I had a dwarf lion that never touched anything other than a live, swimming small fish. I had snails, hermits, brittles, emeralds and he never touched them. It was tough feeding him because he wouldn't take frozen anything - only small live feeders.
snowflakes are very nice eels. they are small when compared to other members of their species. Only getting up to 30 inches or so. They are night hunters and normally stay in their cave during the day. They will come out to feed during the day if that is when you feed the tank. You have to make sure of any unexpected exits from the tank. Have something to secure the top so that they can't escape,
protect the overflows and returns. That sort of thing. They eat live foods, but can be switched over to frozen, they are also very good to house with lions. Both of these animals are messy eaters and a good protein skimmer is needed to assure water quality. Also it is preferred to add vitamins to the water and try to get them to eat greens if at all possible.
