I just got my clean up crew yesterday and acclimated everything using the drip method but my turbo snails are still laying in the sand where i left them yesterday they are all face down so they can move but they have not done anything it has been about 24 hours now everything else i got is doing fine is this normal for snails to take some time to adjust or are they dead

It's not normal for them not to move for 24 hours. How long did it take to ship them and how hot did they get? How long did you drip-acclimate them and in what container? You can always remove one and give it the old sniff test. There's nothing quite like the smell of a dead snail. Also, any carion eater such as nassarius snails or bristle worms should be active and that's also a dead giveaway. My opinion.

If they are still alive, they would be better off to be placed up on the rocks where they can get a grip. Turbos and Astreas really don't crawl on the sand and can't get traction when placed on the sand.
