Will they live??

I have recently moved from a 20 g set up to a 40 brd. set up. During the move I placed my rock with mushrooms in a tub with a power head and a heater. After a couple of days I placed the rock in the new tank. A lot of the mushrooms had come off the rock. I placed them in the tank with the rest of the rock. I believe they are still recovering from the shock of the move. (They haven't opened) Let me also say that the pH. Sal. temp. in the new tank was about the same as the old tank. Should I scoop or leave and see what happens??

I'd leave them to see if they re-attach. If the parameters are close they may do so. Detatching was likely a response to the shock of moving. If you don't want them blowing around the tank, you could try putting a small glass or plastic container in the tank with the mushrooms and some reef rubble in it. Hopefully the mushrooms will latch on.

I can't kill my mushrooms no matter how hard I try, so I would wait it out. They are very hearty.
