lifereef overflow

[somethings fishy]

I was wondering if anybody out there had the dual tubed overflow from Lifereef and what type of return pump there were using. Basically i was wondering if a Mag 12 would be to much for it, and if a mag 12 was to much flow for a 75g tank.

I run that prefilter and Use a 3mdqxsc return at 4 feet of head. Close to 1000 gph and it handles it fine and probably could handle more. As far the Mag 12 Im not sure how much it flows. My total flow in my 75 is 2000 GPH Half of which is on a Closed loop.

I have the Mag 12 with the dual overflow with about 4 feet of head. Have had in service for one month now in a 100 gal. No problems so far. The overflow is rated for 1400gph and the Mag 12 is rated at 1200gph at 0ft head.

Great thats exactly what I wanted to hear. I placed the order for the mag 12 today and expect the overflow on friday can't wait for my new toys.

I also ordered a mag1200gph for my new 110gal duall overflow reefready tank, mag is a popular and reliable pump, my custom built downdraft skimmer will also run a mag950gph, cya.

I have an iwaki 70rlt and the overflow has no problem keeping up with the flow.
