HI, I POSTED THIS MESSAGE LAST WEEK AND COULDN'T FIND IT TODAY SO I'LL ASK YOU THIS AGAIN... I HAVE A 15 GAL. TANK(24*12*12) AND I NEED A GOOD SKIMMER FOR IT. I ORIGINALY BOUGHT A RED SEA BERLIN AIR LIFT 40 BUT RETURNED IT BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT TOOK UP TOO MUCH SPACE(IN TANK SKIMMER), I WANTED TO BUY A PRIZM BUT I 'M UNSURE OF THEM BECAUSE OF THE MIXED REVIEWS, I HAVE SEEN A LEE'S BRAND SKIMMER AT MY LPS BUT IT LOOKS PRETTY CHEAP, ANY RECOMENDATIONS FOR ME GUYS I'D GREATLY APPRECIATE THE HELP!!
THANKS IN ADVANCE, MATT

Hi Matt, and welcome on board! Just a minor point of board etiquette - all caps is the equivalent of SHOUTING ! Only use it to emphasize a point.
Thanks!

Floppyfish...

I have both a lees and a prizm skimmer. I bought the Lees first bc I was short on cash and needed a skimmer and later upgraded to the prizm. Based on my experiences wih the Lees the prizm rock. The Lees will require a lot of tinkering with and you need \to understand how an air-driven skimmer works to be able to adjust it. FWIW, if it was my decision I would go with a Prizm.

I agree with Jim, save your money and buy some salt so you can do water changes instead.

If you've got some bucks kicking around, pick up a prizim or a seaclone, they should be fine on a 15. If this is going to be a soft coral tank, it may benefit from the lack of a skimmer. Just grow some macroalgae for some nutrient export.
