need help choosing a good skimmer...

hi,

i started a new tank 55g which is running for 4 weeks with a fluval 304. the initial setup was done for a fish only tank, but i get 50 pounds of live rock for free and will start to add those pieces slowly. question is would skimmer you guys like the most ? and is there something like over-skimming e.g. getting a skimmer which is way to big ?
