I plan to add a T. Derasa - assuming I can find one I like.
Ignoring other parameters, I'm pondering my light.
The two areas I might put it are covered by 250MH 10K HQI bulbs. My bulbs are about 3 inches from the water's surface.
If it's a big clam and ready to live out its life in the sand then will I have enough light at a depth of two feet (a bit less I guess due to sand etc)?
If't it's a baby (perhaps more likely) then I'll place it on the reef at a depth of 1 foot - I assmue that will give it plenty of light - does that sound about right?
