when to replace uv bulb & r.o. cartridges

I have a Coralife Pure-Flo tfc-24 R.O. unit. How do you know when to replace the carbon and sediment cartridges? They really do not look dirty. The sediment cartridge looks like is has some algea growing on it though? And does anyone ever replace the membrane? I use chlorinated water.

Also, same for the U.V. Bulb. I have Aqua Ultraviolet 15 watt with wiper. The company states 14 months on the bulb? Does anyone ever replace the quartz sleeve?

The quartz sleeve only needs replacing should you ever break it.

UV bulbs have a service life of about six months. In a reef they last forever since they would ordinarily be turned off 24/7
