Simple answer: maybe.

I've seen them go both ways. I saw an E. Quad at work that had blown almost all its Zooxanthellae and was transparent, but with some TLC under 175 W MH it came back.

Make sure to feed it, probably a couple of times a week. Mine likes silversides and mysis, and devours them with gusto.

my general rule of thumb is...if it doesnt have too much light, feed it. if you have too much light try feeding it, but if it doesnt take it, let it be. watch them carefully, especially comming from lower light situations. my LTA was doing awesome under 20w NO when i first got him. it was 12-14 inches wide and ate like a pig, go figure. but when i out on the vhos about a year later, it shrunk to no more than 6 inches wide and turned this amazing pink green yellow and red combo pattern. pretty neat. then i upgraded to one 400w MH 6500k and now its back to what it looked like under th NO's and is as big as well. still eats sometimes but it doesnt complain if i dont feed it for a week or two. light isnt the color producer, its environment and circumstance i believe.

Will a Long tentacle anemone that has been in a tank with insufficent lighting that has lost its symbiotic algae (Changed color from a pink with green tips to white) regrow the symbiotic algea under corect lighting? (250W MH with 2 32W atinics)
