I've had some Sinulara in my reef for quite some time now 2 yrs and just recently it started shrinking back and now I noticed on a couple of branches black decaying looking matter, can anyone give me any advice on how top save them?
Have you checked your water parameters? Are there any other corals close by? Sometimes soft corals release toxins to overpower nearby corals competeing for property.
In addition to the above, I would cut away the black spots off the colony.
