Its red turf. How so I get rid of it?

I can't give advice on th subject, I haven't had the problem. However, what kind of hermit is that huge bastard on the top right? Is that thing reef safe?

Would you believe its just a regular blue hermit. I dont know why but it keeps growing. He doesnt bother anyone and I feed him a little shrimp every now and then. Must be a mutant.

actually its a Left Handed Hermit I believe. I have one in my tank that my kids call The Monster Crab

He should have one claw larger than the other Calcinus laevimanus according The reef Aquarium vol II

He should be doing a number on that algea I would think, my hermits stripped my algea bare.

As far as the crab is concerned mine has been no problem for 6 months, although he does bully the other hermits. Sometimes he pushes them off the rockwork just for laughs I think
