I'm about to add a second refugium to my system. The first (25g imperial)which has been running for 2 years is sat next to my main tank. Return from the sump to the main tank is via the refugium. The refugium and main tank are drilled to 40mm (inch and a half) and plumbed together.
What i want to do is add a second refugium, at sump level, which is not part of the main tank/sump water flow. This is intended primarily to raise peppermint shrimps. Any thoughts as to the best way to do this?
