my Nitrite is at 0.25 I have tried several 10% water changes of natural sea water and the home made concauction... No change. I have a 37gl it is 9 months old with 75 lbs of LR and a 3" sandbed. I fear I might be feeding to much but the fish seem to eat all of it and the little bit that occasionally gets to the bottom the hermits attack. Any suggestions? Thanks

Nitrite or nitrate?
If it's nitrite then something is amiss in the cycle. Kind of odd you would get a spike like this being that the tank is 9 months old. Has anything come up missing lately? A snail, fish crab etc?
You might want to cut back on the feedings for a few days just to see if your readings bounce back to normal. The fish will be ok.
Another small water change might be a good idea also. Other than that time is the only thing I can think of to level off.

Good luck....
