A few months back, i had a terrible flatworm problem that lead me to use a copper solution to finaly rid my problem of them.I had tried all the suggestions and tried to rid them several different ways before finally trying the copper way. ( i tried for about 3 months, they were killing my plants and smothering my live rock)anyways, i setup a smaller tank to put the couple plants i had and a few crabs etc. So the only things in my big tank is my live rock and a few fish (that all survived and doing well). Right now im having red algea probs and getting like a brownish/red dust on the glass to were u need to clean it.My main questions are, when do u think it will be safe to try a feather duster or snails etc. ? this is what im running and water readings.

Tank-90 gallon
Live rock- about 140 pnds.
lights-blue/white ice caps
Filter-a 304 flu. and a hot mag.
pro skimmer
just enuff crushed shell to cover bottom
4 fish- 3 clowns and a wrasse

nitrates,nitrites,ammonia,ph, all is 0
but,, copper is showing between 0 and 0.1 (probs?)

any suggestions on this will be appreciated..thanx

Sorry jeni, it seems copper can never be totally succesfully removed from rock/dead corals. Your best bet would be to consider this tank a very large quarintine tank, or fish only. FWIW, HTH.
