Knowing that Ph climbs during the day and falls during the night, at what time should I test it in the water?

I might find the correct PH in the water, but its possible that it will vary at another hour.

At what time do most people measure PH?

Abe,
I use a PH monitor, so my PH is monitored constantly. Best is to test twice/day. Once at night and once in the morning - just before your main lighting turns on, and just after it turns off.

Also, after a while, you'll get to recognize your corals' reaction's to poor water quality.

I'm right there with Mitch, I can't recommend a pH probe/moniter highly enough!

Check it in morning and afternoon for a while, see what the swing is. After that always check it at the same time each day you check it.
