Has anyone ordered form this company? If so were you please with what you got? I am thinking of ordering their 9 for $99 deal. But my mom seems kind of skeptical about this company, and wanted me to do a little research on them before I went a head and bought the stuff.
Thanks

They rock. Stuff they sent was alive and well. I did the 9 for $99. They are very nice and helpful on the phone. They are prompt and pack well. I like them.

Did you order their sandbed clam, anyone have any pictures of them, or a scientific name?
Thanks

I've ordered from them too. Very nice. I go tthe 9 for 99 and everything was alive and well. The strombus snails I got have been reproducing and the anthelia poyps have grown from 4 to un-countable, covering 2 live rocks.
Got it 6 months ago and I'll be ordering again soon.

Hey Les, I recieved my order from ipsf last wed. I got the 9 for $99. For my sandbed I did get the sandbed clams. They look very cool but they bury themselves within minutes. The only time you see them is when they are close to the glass. As far as good or bad I feel the more you have stirring your sandbed the better. If I was you I would also get the live sand activator and the mud. The critters you get with those items are impressive.

Les,

I ordered the tang heaven from them over a year ago. Service was prompt and the packaging was great. I had a couple of questions and e-mailed Gerald. He responded within hours.

The only thing I did not like was the lack of SSL on their website. I placed the order and called in my credit card number.

I have no experience with the 9 for $99, however.

HTH,

JohnD

Thank you for all your replies, you have all been alot of help....no just one more question. What are your oppions on baby bristle worms. Because although I have heard some people saysing that bristle worms can be good, I also heard that they can be bad for your tank. Now i dont know if it is just one type that are bad for tanks, or if it is all of them?
Thanks

Les, the new thinking is that these worms do no harm and are actually excellent scavengers. I have many in my tank and am happy with the job that they do. One reminder about these, don't grab them with your bare hands unless you are curious about why they have bristle in their name

the bristle worms are a good thing, I got the 9 for 99 special , and the only thing i would reccomend against getting the micro hermits, they grow and kill your snails..everything else is great..

Yeah, I was thinking of getting the live sand in the package, but since I never wanted hermits in my take, i'll probablly try to seel them to my LFS, of if someone one here wants them, I might be able to ship them.

IPSF has the goods you want. I haven't noticed any problems with my "microhermits" in the year I've had them. They don't seem to swap shells to often and do stay small...but they are omnivorous so anything is possible. I noticed the 9 for 99 package has changed a little bit since I ordered over a year ago. They don't include the left hand hermits anymore(good thing). When I ordered I got every snail I could, the trochus are excellent grazers, the strombus and the hawaiian turbos have BOTH bred in my tank. Most of my nerites died over time, I've heard they prefer cooler waters under 80 degrees. I also got the LS activator and wondermud. Both were meager portions but the LS came with nerites and more hermits. The wonder mud was basically a bag of water with a pinch of substrate with worms, pods, and brittlestars. It's taken a year for the brittlestars to reach a noticable population. Worth the wait IMO. I also got the anthelia polyps.....two days in the box...wish they died, tough weeds

. If you get the anthelia, by all means give it a rock to grow on and DON'T cut it in the tank or you will have polyps everywhere. You have been warned.

I would order from IPSF again, but I don't need to, most of the stuff I ordered is thriving!
