My pH is at 7.9-8.0 with the lights on. Alk is high 6.5meq/L Calcium 425 Nitrates 10-20 Ammon. neg. How can I raise pH with alk so high already?or should I just leave things? Is a pH of 7.8 -7.9 dangerous? (I have a 90 gal reef tank.)

Hi, have you tried dripping Kalk? that seems to help alot with the Ph. I had this same problem. And I know this is strange , but new homes also build up excess CO2. I even cracked a window in the same room. Ph went from 8.0 to 8.2 slowly during the day, and I drip Kalk 24/7. hope this helps.

A pH of 7.8-7.9 is not a problem. Use your animals as a guide. Do they look good? Is all well in your tank?
