How many people that use a protein skimmer have it running 24/7? Mine is on a timer and comes on from midnight to 8 a.m.

I use my turboflotor multi 1000 24/7 but just replaced it with a euroreef cs8-3 on my 75. I plan on running this skimmer only at night and feeding DT's in the morning.
