Okay guys, I got some macro algae, and it has overtaken my tank. It isnt hair. How do you get rid of it? I have lots of grape caulepera and some UGLY leafy stuff that came in on some live rock I got. I pick and harvest but it is a losing battle. There are no longer any phosphates OR nitrates in the water, but just LOTS of Macro.

Emerald crabs will rid the tank of it. Some say that they are not reef safe, but I have had only good luck with them.

I will do that if you pay for shipping and let me know how to ship it. The stuff that isnt Grape, is really ugly though. But let me know.

They say that if you want to just 'trim' it back, simply squish the ends between two fingers.
