Everytime I add Reef Plus and Reef Complete to the tank, my colt coral draws up. It takes about a week to get back to normal size, and by that time it's time to add more.
check other perameters before assuming its reef plus. I use reef plus and never seen an adverse effect on my colt. What else are you adding. I had a similar experience using tech l iodine with xenia, it turned out not to be tech l but extremely low alkaliity. The coral somehow did not care for the combination of the 2(low alk & tech l).The Xenia opened after a long while, I corrected the alkalinity the xenia opened. I use the same bottle of
tech l and the xenia seems fine.
