I just received my new ETSS Evolution 750 skimmer today. I've been waiting for it to arrive for about 2 1/2 weeks, so needless to say, I'm pretty excited to finally have it!

I'll be installing it in-sump on my 180G system this weekend. This bugger is HUGE, but I think it will fit in my sump OK since the pump can be placed pretty much anywhere to power it. It will be powered with a Mag 12. This skimmer is replacing a Turboflotor 1000, which IME is WAY undersized for this size system.

Anyway, just thought I'd share my excitement. Everyone knows how fun it is to get new "toys".

Also, if anyone has any pointers on adjusting this puppy and breaking it in, that would be greatly appreciated!

Where did you get it from? I have the ETSS reef devil on my 75. Awsome skimmer. They make a good product. Let us know how it works out after the initial set up.

I ordered it from Aquatic Technology. The best price I could find on the 'net. After I ordered, they found that they were out of stock, and had to have it drop-shipped from ETSS. It took a little longer than I'd hoped, but I think the wait will be well worth it!

I'll be going from a flow rate on my current skimmer of approximately 200 gph to about 1100 gph with this one. None too soon, as my sandbed was "blushing" with cyano when I got home from work today.
