I just saw red worms digging through my DSB. They look like red earth worms. What are these? Are they harmful? If, they are harmful, how do I remove them?

If they are bristtle worms, why then don't they sting or injure me when captured? They look identical to earth worms. Smooth, and slimy.

Just about any worm in your DSB is a good thing. There is a few exceptions, but it sounds like you have nothing to sweat.

If you have not read any of Dr. Ron Shimeks articles on DSBs I would highly recommend it. Do a search in the Library here too.
