Tonight I will be getting my Anthelia Polyps from my ipsf order. I was wondering if it is needed to does calcium for all corals or just hard corals.
Thanks

all coral consume calcium to some degree i dose my tank which only has soft corals and shrooms coraline algea will consume calcium also

some people use frequent water changes to keep calcium levels up but dosing is cheaper in my opinion

i use reef complete but and considering buying kalwasser as it seems to be a very common supplement with people i talk too

you need a good test kit for calcium i think i paid $15 for mine at LFS

i keep my reef at 450 ppm but i just read in another post that the correct calcium level is 445 ppm
