I added a DIY spraybar to my return line in the tank. Everything was fine for a couple of weeks. Then slowly the pump couldn't keep up with the overflow. I drilled the holes larger in the spraybar. No luck there. I bought the pump used and have done nothing to it sinCe feb. Is there something I can do, or is the pupm just wearing out?

Picasso,

Check the impeller and inside of the housing for calcium build up. Soak it in vinegar for a few hours and rinse well. I'm sure you will see some calcium deposits when you take it apart. Reassemble it and see what happens. Also the more 90's you have in your return line adds to the head pressure.
