About 4 days ago I noticed one branch of my frogspawn was "walking" off of the base. I continued to watch it very slowly expose more and more of the base below it. That evening it completely dropped off from the rest of the coral. It was rolling around on my sand bed and I thought it was dying. To my surprise the next day I found it attached to a rock near the bottom of my tank. It is now 3 days later and it has its polyps extended. It is attached by a grey "foot" to the rock. I have been told this is called polyp bailout. Has anybody had this happen to them before? Also could this have been caused by stress from high water temps? We have had a couple hot days here in the northeast. Thanks for your help.

Congrats I have never had that happen although a new colony started on an old part of the skeleton once.
