Problem with X-10 and Icecap 660 Ballast.

My lighting setup for my 55g consists of an Icecap 660 Ballast and 2 NO Ballasts. The 660 is powering 2 VHO Actinic bulbs. I use an X-10 setup to time the ballasts, and I've had no problems with the NO ones, but the VHO ballast sometimes won't turn off. I'm using Activehome to control the timing and sometimes it doesn't seem to work.

Has anyone had problems with X-10 and Icecap ballasts, or am I doing something wrong?

Any help would be appreciated, the lights are staying on for 24 hours sometimes when I'm not home for a few days because of timers not clicking off...so the sooner I fix the problem the better.

I am using X-10 Units on my IceCaps 660s. Mine power 4 96Watt PCs each, but I don't think that has any bearing on it. Make sure that you use the >400Watt Appliance Modules, and not the lamp modules. I have no problems. HTH

There is a way to disable "local control"
You cut a small wire inside the unit

I have had this problem also this seemed to fix it
