powerheads for a 35g reef

How many, and what size powerheads should I go with for my 35g reef. I was thinking about getting a few maxi-jets but not to sure which size would be good.

i have two hagen 301 powerheads on my 37 gallon but these were recycled from my last tank and have been in consant use for about 8 years

im sure they make something better i would look into gettin some that rotate back in forth to provide more natural current and better circulation

I've seen these at LFS but they are more expensive than fixed ones. Of course this problably saves the expenses of having to buy a wave controller in the future that cycles power on and off to each head

8 years of constant running 24 hours a day says alot for these hagans reliabilty but i tear them down and clean the impeller and magnents when ever flow decreases which is about every 4 months or so

i will definantly buy rotating heads the next time myself as they improve circulation

Maybe get one 1200, and 2 600's, depends on what your keeping sps youll want a lot of flow, softies and lps not as much.
