I think I ODed my tank on homemade buffer. Last wed. I noticed my clavularia and green star polyps where closed. By thursday I knew something was wrong my sps were clamped up as were most of the corals. On friday I changed 30gal on saturday I changed 50gal and today I changed 50 more and removed as much dead xenia and corals as I could. I'm setting up to do 50gal tomorrow or should I just let the skimmer run wet and change the water that way. The tank is a 240gal with about another 170gal in two stock tanks in the basement. PH is 8.6 Alk is 5 meg. on a seachem test I think it reads low. Ammonia tests 0 ,nirite 0 so far the fish are fine the snails just about wiped out and xenia is melting down. Please I'm all out answers I almost want to cry. Bill Wiley
