An robot monkey that is the reef watcher and temporary caregiver so when i am away crazing things dont happen. Which we all know that crazing things happen when we are away. Thats what I wish I had
Cheese took my first idea- zero heat lighting. To add to the list-
1. RO w/ zero rejection
2. Artificial rock that is as porous as the real thing
3. Food doser that can dispense live, frozen, liquid, and cryo-frozen foods in small portions throughout the day (and night)
4. Low amp-draw pumps and lighting
I second the CA and alk probes. How about a cheap skimmer that skimms like hell with skimmate that smells like potpourri? Also i'd like to see a hydrometer that is as precise as a refractometer.

Your wish is granted!!!! There is a company that sells 175W ballast, socket, mounting bracket and bulb for $75. I bought two of these kits three years ago and they are still running strong! Made a couple bulb changes of course! I sure hope someone can provide a link to this companie's website. I will research it a little more.

I'd like to see something in the form of a laser pointer when, aimed at an aiptasia, would first make it quiver, then swell, then explode like the guys head in the movie Scanners. Now, if you'll excuse me, my nurse is here with my medicine.
A truely programmable wave maker that allows you to set the on/off times independantly for each powerhead and gives free control on how often they cycle and cycle times. Also, a powerhead that has variable flow output that can be programmed to provide strong surge currents on a periodic basis.
Automatic glass cleaner that can do the following...
*Go around all the snails/power heads
*Scrapes all the Coralline off
Hmmmm..Come to think of it, not an impossible task. Just need to make an externally powered magnetic cleaner that has some sensors for detecting obstacles...May be my next project...
