I have been trying witjout much success to raise my calc & Alk. I have tested it today Alk=8kH & Ca= 360 I also took a sample to LFS he measured Alk=6kH and Calc=330. My calcium reactor karollin is not sufficient for my heavy loaded 180g. Effluent from reactor is a very good Alk of 32kH.I am dosing Kalk and restarted dosing B-Ionic. Up to three month ago my calc & Alk were good with only the B ionic & the calcium reactor. My question is; I am noticing that the B ionic as it drips into the tank the effluent from the Alk bottle does not totally dissolve meaning I see small paricles of jelly like consistency floating around and the fish seem to pick at it. Is this normal? I was afraid it is alk precipitation but my levels are too low.
