Does anybody know when its coming out? Barnes and Noble says its "usually available in 1-2 weeks", but I think they've been saying that for a while now.

Does anyone even know what kinds of species he's going to cover in the book?

Volume 1 says that Volume 2 will contain groupers & snapfishes & reef basslets, dottybacks, grammas, longfins, jawfishes, bigeyes, hawkfishes morwongs, cardinalfishes, tilefishes, romoras, jacks, snaper & Fusilliers, grunts, spinecheeks, drums & croakers, goatfishes, sweepers, monos, butterflyfishes, angelfishes, and damsels.

I sure wish they would publish it soon.

I can't wait for this book too. The funny thing is you can find most of Scott Michaels fish information in back issues of Aquarium FISH. He has covered almost every fish group repeatedly in that magazine

James Lawrence at Microcosm said Scott is still finishing the writing but that it's expected out soon.

Recent news is that Scott has actually finished writing the series, but the publishing of Vol. 2 is being held up by the editor for last minute changes, additions, etc.
