polyp compatabilty ?

can anyone tell me whether the button polyps i have are compatable with the yellow polyps ?

i got a piece of rock with about 15-20 of each on it and i think someone told me the yellow will sting the buttons ?

if so how do i seperate them if they are on the same rock ?

I am not sure about compatibility, but I will tell you that zooanthids (button polyps) are incredibly hearty. If they are not compatible, they will seperate themselves. Be careful w/ peppermint shrimp as they have been known to eat yellow polyps along with aptasia.
