Damn it man do you realize how many squirrels I have around my house? I do not need that in my head

Fishaholic -- I've never tried it, but I have a business associate from the southwest who swears that fried squirrel is excellent!

If I recall some of the many ingredients correctly, his recipe calls for frying it in olive oil with things like lemon, dried oregano and bay leaves, garlic cloves, dry white wine, diced prosciutto, red onion, Dijon mustard, pitted kalamata olives, and roasted red bell peppers.

I believe he says he serves it garnished with marinated artichoke hearts, diced tomato, and feta cheese.

So, make the best of things. If those pesky squirrels ever do short out your electrical power, at least you can eat gourmet while you sit in the dark and worry about your tank, waiting for the power to come back on!

Gee - I wonder what kind of beer or wine goes best with flash-fried squirrel…?

You don't need a super hurricane that wipes out your house, to wipe out your tank. Any hurricane can knock your power out for days or weeks longer than any backup ups or batteries will last providing power. A generator my be your tanks only salvation. I live in Jacksonville on a bay just 11 miles from the ocean 4 hurricanes and 6 tropical storms sence 94. Bertha took my power for 11 days and cycled my tank after that I went and got a generator. That protected me through the hurricanes to follow and has saved me five or six times its price and hours upon hours of headaches and disappointment. During a crisis you will not be able to find generators, gas, or batteries there sold out days in advance. If you live within 50 miles of the ocean in a hurricane prone area (FL, NC, LA, TX, HI) its cheaper to buy a generator than replace everything in your tanks, heaven forbide you have more than one tank to replace or you get hit more than once or many times over the years. A car accident, blown transformer or thunder storm can take your power for a few hours something a ups and or a well set up tank can handle. During our last hurricane (Floyd only a cat 3) there were people in eastern NC that went two and three weeks with no power in there homes, those unprepared lost there tanks.

There is nother wrong with being prepared.

Cheese Sandwich seems to have a big beef with conservatives. Perhaps a name change to Patty Melt would be more appropiate

I vote for a name change to Swiss Cheese, because most of his arguements are full of holes.
