another ph ques.

o.k. my ph meters batteries died about two months ago added new batts. now i get a ph of 7.6 in my tank ,yikes!? what do i do now, just get some buffer and slowly add over a couple days or will it be bad to do it in one day??? all other para, are normal ;alk,ca,temp, sp.gr. what went wrong?

Recalibrate your pH monitor before adding buffer. What is your Alk reading?

What time of day did you take the reading (related to your photoperiod)?
