If you have a decent LFS, then ask them if you can bring it back if it doesn't work. Keep a close eye on the fishies once you get a new one, trying to find another smaller one. It isn't always sucessful, but is possible

Boba, that is bizzare, as the smaller of my two Oscellaris clowns did the "leap of faith" himself 3 weeks ago.

I will be replacing him shortly, just going to add another small Oscellaris and hope that they pair up again. I am also considering adding two small ones, but I'm not sure if "Three's Company" in the Clownfish world?

And another odd co-incidence is that the remaining larger female (I assume) the next day took to a Bubble-tip Anemone that was introduced two weeks prior, even though neither clown paid any attention to it before that time.

Perhaps I need to do a criminal investigation? Maybe the Bubble-tip paid to have the smaller male clown "off'd" so that the female would be alone and move in with the Anemone? Hmmmm....?

I recently lost the smaller of a pair of true Perculas ( must have had a nightmare and flipped out of the tank ). I would really like to get his mate a replacement and was wondering if there are some hints to finding a suitable mate. Thanks!!!

My female Clarkii cuddles up in one of my bubble tips and goes to sleep...she doesn't move until "dawn" lighting hits...
