I would go with he R/O unit because in my opinion you will use it more for topoffs and if you make your own water all water changes. Or you could go with the ever popular "Honey, you'll never guess I was the hundreth vistor to the Fish Store..."
I too vote for R/O water.
You do not have to run to the store to make any water change, you can always have some water ready for any emergency and let's face it, coffee is much better with that water!
Which would you purchase first? An RO/DI unit or a Calcium Reactor? Disregarding the cost factor though...if it was a gift...which would you prefer? Also, product recommendations for your choice would be appreciated. Thanks.
I'm actually going to get both. I just am trying to decide which one first. I still have lots of mix to finish using before I get the Ca Reactor though. So I'll probably go with the RO/DI first. Thanks for all the input.
