I have never read anywhere that clowns can get Ich and they are pretty hardy. So I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone?

My two false percula clowns got ick and they both survived.. the female had it real bad, the male was scratching but not much could be seen on him. Twice I thought I would lose the female.. but she came around it and she is perfectly healthy now.

My maroon clown has gotten ich a few times but it goes away on its own. He is certainly a tough fish, having survived some tank mishaps too.

I HAD ABOUT HALF OF THE 25 TO 30 FISH IN MY OTHER WISE HEALTHY REEF TANK (TANK PARAMETERS OK AND NO SIGNS OF PROBLEMS WITH THE CORALS) 3 OF THE FISH WERE TRUE P. CLOWNS AND 2 WERE TANK RAISED. I THINK THIS IS AN EXTREMLY RARE CASE IN WHICH TOXINS WERE INVOLVED.

i had a seves outbreak of ick in one of my clown tanks containing percs tomatoes clarkis and one maroon

all came down with it but all survived after treatment It is important to note that these were all tank raised clowns and I equate that with their recovery For some reason tank raised clowns are very ick resistant and seem to recover better with treatment
