I was just wondering if you can have too many pods. The number in my tank has reached plague like proportions. The sand bed glass and rocks are covered with them. Is this bad?

sicne you do not have higher order predators your pod population will get bigger and bigger and bigger. once you start dropping fish in, your pod poluation will come under control through predation.

I was noticing the other day that on the inside of my tank, on the glass, there are little moving specks of...I don't know, they look like paprika or cinnamon colored moving specks.

Copepods???
