are these guys reef safe? or are there anything i need to know about them

Will you be keeping small shrimps/clown goby...etc? They are relatively reef safe, provided your corals don't mind him perch on top of them........my clams hated them.

My spotted hawk is the best fish in my tank. They are alot of fun and almost have human personalities. My resident picked on him for 2 weeks, but now he's allowed to swim freely in the tank. I have a reef tank and he's the safest fish I have. GREAT FISH! George

I had one named Hudson Hawk. He was the terror of my tanK. I also loved him,however he ate all my shrimp one at a time in front of me. and then killed my crab and left it laying there. If you have anything smaller than he is it will die. and If i am no mistaken they get fairly decent size to them

i have one now and he is so cool! he does at like he has a personality he seems like alot of fun thanks for all the replys
