Another aiptasia question-sodium hydroxide?

Anyone here tried sodium hydroxide to kill aiptasia? I've tried peppermint shrimps and boiling water injections with no sucess. I dont want to add any proprietary chemicals (i.e. kill-aiptasia) or invest in livestock that will starve after those bad boys are gone.

Also, what are some sources and/or common name of sodium hydroxide?

Not sure about sodium hydroxide, but the ALK part of B-IONIC seems to do the trick!

Just inject the sucker right in the middle of the disk and in the next morning he should be GONE!
