I would appreciate any information you can supply on doric nudibranches as i seem to have gotten one as a hitch hiker on a piece of rock

I dont know whether or not they are reef safe but if they are i would like to keep him

I will try to post a pic but here is a short description....

About 1 in long but he can easliy extend to almost 2 in

Black with several raised green bumps all over his body

two antenna like protrusions which seem to indicate he is of the species doria from what I can find

one of these green bumps is a slightly different color located about midway down his back and may or may not contain some sort of structure which is not extended as of yet

Please provide any information you can I would be willing to give him to someone who could provide proper care and nutrients if that becomes necessary

i have idenified this slug as phyllidia pustulosa and he evidently feeds on small sponges but will not harm corals

I do not have the necessary requirments in my reef to keep him due to its small size and would like to find him a home

He is absolutely beautiful jet black with lime green bumps all over his body

He will not harm corals as some nudibranches will as he has no teeth according to my research but he does feed on sponges by dissolving them in his mouth so this may be a concern

Anyone out there want him ?
