? on plenum design/in sump

Anyone have any ideas on plenum design/sump? Like to use for nitrate reduction, already have main tank set up and running for 6mths when I heard about plenum/nitrate reduction-dont really want to rip apart if avoidable. How big a sump, amount of live sand etc.??

75 gallon w/90lbs live rock, amiracle mr200 wet/dry, berlin turbo skimmer. Tank has been up for 6mths, current population 2 neon gobies (one was in overflow last night

), 2yellowtail damsels, 13 dwarf hermits (another reason I'd like to do this w/a sump instead of in main tank). Thanks!
