Just realized what killed my shrimp. Last night i saw a flea in my living room (probably from my cat or dog) and before i went to sleep i sprayed the living room carpet and under the couches with Raids concentrated fogger, i sprayed the carpet and couches directly. I figure a lil bit of spray wouldnt make much damage in a 125 gallon tank. Well i was obviously wrong

i did a search in the net for the chemical that the fogger uses (Cypermethrin) and found that it is extremely toxic for aquatic life. I immediately put some carbon in my overflow and i will go get some polyfilter in a lil bit and run that as well to try to get rid of the chemical from the water as soon as possible. Luckly my pistol shrimp is still alive and seems well. I hope he makes it.

the anemone has completely eaten the cleaner that the clown brought to to him. I hope the nem doesnt die from chemical residues.

What an aweful experience waking up to see your shrimp dead.

the nem opened up and sorta let go of the shrimp. i immediatly grab it and disposed of it (via the toilet).
seems like the nem knew better not to eat it.

My sebae anemone ate one of my cleaner shrimp. In this case, the shrimp was in perfect health. I awoke to find its antennae protruding from the anemone's mouth. No, it was not just an exoskeleton. The cleaner shrimp was in my tank about 3 years. (Perhaps it was partially old age?) The remaining shrimp does not go near the anemone since then.

a few months ago my green serpent star ate a healthy cleaner. im thinking that the shrimp was molting and the star got a hold of him. i also saw the antenas coming out of the stars mouth.
i need to get rid of that starfish... way too aggresive.

one of my cleaner shimps is dead, the other one is almost dead, barely moving, covered in sand...
nothing new in the tank.
i fed them yesterday just fine too, they ate the food normally as they usually do. anems are fully expanded as usual. polyp extension is fine in my sps, toadstool polys are fully open, xenia is expanded as usual, fish is behaving normally.
I havent checked water chemistry, but i will do that right now!!!
