Which is most accurate? Or are they about the same?

ORP, is this nesessary to measure? I haven't heard many people speaking about this here.

Neptune makes a combo unit with both pH and ORP probes. Their units seem to be more refined the the Pinpoint.

We use full time PH meters on our reef tanks I find them essential if you are keeping corals. If you decide on the Meter alone, You can buy a plug in adapter for the PH meters It's worth it cuz I think its about $14.00 and you will easily go through that in batteries.

Thanks Renae,
Seems like all of the online MO places are out of stock on the Neptune pH monitors. Always happens when I really want something neat.

I have both the Neptune controller and the pinpoint meter, I like the Neptune meter better but it is effect by my blueline eballasts electrical interference. I only check my ph and orp when the halides are off. The Neptune controller is a nice piece of equipment. The one thing you must remember is to clean the probes regularly.

The lcd light on my pinpoint ph meter does not light completely. I have owned two in 4 years and I have gone through 3 probes. When the lcd light stop lighting properly that is when I decided to buy the Neptune controller. I also owned a pinpoint salinity meter it stopped working after about a year and 3 month.
