Is this enough light to grow "most" Corals?

Out of curiousity, why were you told not to go the power compact way?

You stated in a chat room tonight that this lighting set up was gonna cost you $1239.00.

You can go MH 3 X 250 Iwasaki and 3 X 6' VHO for::
2 X 250 Iwasaki Retro kit ( ballast, bulbs, mogul socket, and reflector)...$334.80
1 X 250 Iwaskai Retro Kit ( ballast, bulb, mogul socket, and reflector)...$185.90
2 Icecap 660 ballast, 3 X 6'VHO, endcaps, acrylic mounts, and bulbs......$303.10

You say that you cant afford the MH route but if my addition is correct you can go MH for about $823.00. This is a savings of $416.00 and instead of 4wpg you will have a little over 9WPG...If you ask me this is the way you should go..You will be able to keep a lot wider array of corals and will be able to keep them happier too...And save money..

Is this enough light for a 135g tank? I want to be grow as many corals I can. But I don't think I can afford the mh route. I am spending alot of money as it is, will this lighting setup work well? Btw told not to go the power compact way.
