yeah man. I'm the king of self-abasement around here.

You've got a good looking tank. I really like your rock scaping. Great job. Good use of that 'whale fin/ mick jagur tongue' rock that reaches from the back to the front with the xenia sitting on top. Ohh, there's got to be a better way to point it out. Ok, it's the rock that is kind of in front of the heater.

Anyway. Nice!

All that matters is if the tank looks the way YOU want it to, and that you can keep the fish and corals that you choose healthy. Don't be intimidated by people on this board (not meant as a slam in any way). There are some people who just get into it way more intensely. Bottom line: keep em healthy...the rest is a matter of what looks good to you.

Well I have finally got some pics that I think look half way decent. It is a 55gallon with two 96wattpcs and two 55wattpcs. I know it doesn't compare to some of you professions out there but how am I doing so far? (Please ignore the two green power heads this is just a temporary fix until I get my other powerhead.) Please be gentle!!

Sweet! Nice tank. Everything is well spaced from each other to provide ample room to grow. nice job.

I suppose this tank is fairly new, because the back wall and the sand bed is simply too clean.

Yes the tank is a year old and the sand bed was just added in Jan. When I started the only resources I knew about were my LFS. Also this is a skimmerles and sumpless system.
