URI VHO Lamp Ratio Advice

Does anyone mix Aquasuns, 50/50s, and Actinics? I'm thinking of trying 2 of each over my 75. Right now I have 3 Aquasuns and 3 Actinics but it looks really purple. Thanks.

When I had 6 VHOs over my 75g I had 2 03s 3 50/50 and one Aquasun I kept a range of softies and SPSs I dropped down to 4 bulbs now (most of my stuff is in my 225 now 3x400w) and have 3 50/50 and one aquasun
I need to take one of the 50/50 out and replace it with a 03 just don’t feel like buying another bulb at this time
BTW I ran the 2 03 on one ballast so I could turn them on together before the others

I would try and remove one 03 and try a 50/50

I have 4 VHO's over my tank...
2 blues o3's and 2 50/50's Mine has a purple color to it as well. When i had 2 03's 1 aquasuns and 1 50/50 it gave it more of a soft color that looked good... but since i just added my 50/50 and blue i will wait 6 months to replace and go back to what I started with... grew coralline algae great...

I originally was using 2 03's and 2 50/50's over my 75 and I thought it was way too blue for my liking. I then switched to 2 aquasuns and 2 actincs and was much happier with the color from that seemed to bring out the colors better and a bit brighter to me at least. I added 2 more bulbs and am now using 3 03's 1 50/50 and 2 aquasuns. I will probably change the last 50/50 that I had left over from before over to a aquasun when it's time to change it.

I am using 6 bulbs, 2 each of Aquasun, 50/50, and 03. The 50/50s come on first in the morning and the tank looks pretty purple. I have considered ditching the 03s, possibly running 4 aquasuns and 2 50/50s. I am not convinced that the 03s are good for anything other than compensating for low K MH bulbs. I must say, though, that running actinics alone can make the tank look pretty bizarre.

I use 2 50/50 + 1 aquasun + 1 03, I like the color.
