Can anyone provide me with some information on the different types of snails (turbo,astrea,pyramid,etc) and preferably with pictures. I am rather confused as I usually only see a certain type of snails at the LFS, and they don't consume turf algae. Or perhaps I am confused with what turf algae is, but one of the sides of my aquarium is covered with a mossy bright green algae amid coraline - I wonder if that is what you call turf algae. Thanks for any help
