Pinchy Grew His Arm Back!!

Yea my Sally Lightfoot lost both claws and 2 legs (in a battle I suppose) and grew them back over about a 4 week period. I had to watch him each day at feeding time during this period to make sure he was getting some food. Amazing animals!

yep my cbs lost one of his claws and the next time he molted it was back...but it wasn't till the molt after that that it looked like he was using it, the claw just kinda hung there. now though he's fully functional.

I could not believe my eyes this morning... The lights came on and there it was the usual molting that occurs to the crustaceans every couple of weeks or so. I proceeded to get the tongs out and remove it from the tank. My child asking where are you taking Pinchy and I have to explain (again, he is only four and cant remember) that Pinchy molts and I am just throwing his old clothes away because he does not need them see, he has new clothes... When I glanced and Pinchy and Lo and Behold Pinchy Grew His Arm Back!!! He has not had his right arm for some time. And I am positive that he did not have it last night because I fed him a piece of fish directly early yesterday. We have been feeding Pinchy because we felt sorry for him. We guessed that he had lost it in a fight with the wrasse or the serpent star or something. Anyway I guess Pinchy can fend for himself now.
